Intro to Weight Lifting 101
Are you tired of heading straight to the treadmills when you hit the gym? Would you like to spend more time strength training, but are unsure what kind of weight lifting suits your needs? Would you like to know what to do with those dumbbells in your garage, other than use them as door stops? If so, Envision Fitness has designed a program to help you navigate the sometimes confusing world of weights.
Our two part course will guide you through an introduction to understanding how prime mover muscles work in coordination with the rest of our body, which muscles push and which ones pull, why leg day is so important, and what exactly is “core strength”. You will learn proper form and breathing techniques as well as the basics of creating your own workout plan. Classes will be split into 30 minutes of discussion followed by an hour of practical training.

Weightlifting 101 & 201 work together so are purchased together. We do require 101 to be completed before taking 201. Limited availability, so secure your spot today!
