Growing up, I was the kid that got in trouble for talking in class, couldn’t sit still, and continuously asked if we could have class outside. Now, I get to work outside whenever I want, move around, and talk to people all day!
I played D1 college soccer for Saint Louis University and was voted as captain by my teammates and coaches. Playing soccer taught me so many valuable lessons including discipline, being a part of a winning culture, and how to motivate others in order to get the best out of those around me. Upon graduating, I became a personal trainer and yoga instructor, so I could continue my love for the fitness world and being a part of a community.
I’ve taught yoga classes for two years now including power, hot, vinyasa, and sculpt. Yoga has a hefty grasp on my heart as it has helped me mentally and physically through some challenging times. Teaching yoga fills my days with so much fulfillment because now I get the opportunity to guide others, help them progress in their practice, and provide a chance to find peace by slowing down and taking time for themselves amidst our hectic lives.
Although yoga has provided me with so much, I still have a passion for strength and cardio training. Ranging anywhere from high intensity interval training to your standard functional strength sessions, I love utilizing weights and personalized programs to get results and improve one’s overall health.
I consider myself a utility player in the fitness world because I want to provide as many options to my clientele as possible. I recognize that no two people are the same and what works for you may not work for another. In the same sense, everyone has different goals which may require different methods. I’m here to help find what works for you and push you to become the best version of yourself!
